Mentaly chalenged children's ministry
Mentally challenged children’s ministry.
I was seeking the Lord a while back in a special way. I was praying about how else I can show Christ and where else I can go to reach the lost and to preach the gospel. I have been preaching to people on the streets and prayed for people in stores, supermarkets and other places. But that day as I was on my knees seeking the Lord in a special day I felt He wanted me to do something I never did before. He led me to read out of book of John, when Jesus went in to the Betheda where there was great number of sick people waiting for an angel to trouble water. Jesus went in there to set free a man who was there for 38 years. Jesus always went to those whom others overlooked. He always went to those people who world gave up on.
Close to where we live there is a place for boys only called “mentally challenged institution” It is state run orphanage for boys with mental disorders. There are 156 boys from 5-25 years old. Most of them have been locked up there for a lifetime.
Many have down syndrome, others have epilepsy and many other disorders. Great majority of them have parents.
I asked the Lord how I can reach these children with the gospel. Should we reach these kind of people?
If Jesus is the same: today, yesterday and forever. Than we can dare to believe that we can reach all kinds of people. The blood of Christ is too precious to leave out any people group.
The world today can duplicate almost everything the church does. The world can give millions for charity and feed the hungry help the poor. World will never duplicate the power of the early New Testament church. If we dare to believe, Jesus said that all things are possible.
So please pray with us that the gospel would reach the minds and hearts and bodies of the boys in that institution. What was shocking to find out is that out of so many churches in the city no male minister tried to reach these boys. All they see every day are female teachers. Only 3 ladies from a church have been ministering there for several years.
It is so obvious that these boys need a male figure that will be friends with them and share Christ there.
It is not the will of our heavenly Father that any of the least of these should parish.
Nikita's testimony
Nikita’s (our son) Testimony
Jesus is the same: today, yesterday and forever.
We would like to share special testimony with all those who believe that God has not changed and never will. James says that In Him there is no shadow of change.
Some would have us to believe that what Jesus did while on earth was only temporary manifestations of God’s power just to prove that God sent Him to earth. These teachers have brought in the doctrine that after the last apostle passed away the power of God is no longer there.
But all those who would ever dare to believe that Jesus is the same like He was while on earth will prove different.
Our family was experiencing what I would call excessive faith test. In the middle of the unbearable circumstances our son Nikita (3 years old) got sick at the time when things seemed already impossible. He came down with very bad throat infection. He could not eat, or drink and he hardly slept few hours for two nights. As we saw how painful it was for him we called the doctor. She came next day in the afternoon and gave us a long list of medicine which was expensive. The doctor said that the boy would have to take these heavy antibiotics 7 days. We had to buy antibiotics for his throat. We realized that antibiotics were really bad for his young body.
Next day his situation was not getting any better, we had to force him to eat and drink. It felt too much for us since there were many other problems we were facing. And now this on top of them all which seemed to drain all our energy. We did pray for him but it seemed that we were powerless in this situation. In the evening of the second day, Nikita kept crying and had his lips swollen due to fever and being unable to swallow his saliva. It was around 6 p.m. when I put him on my laps and pressed him tightly and we cried out to Jesus. We rebuked the infection, and said that since Jesus lives in our home, He is the owner and He is the Lord in our home and we can’t do anything to help our son, we knew that He can. In my spirit we brought our son to the feet of Jesus. We did not give much thought to the prayer and we got busy doing other things. We noticed that within half an hour our son went to the kitchen and chugged the whole glass of juice. Then he grabbed a cookie and ate it. It was unbelievable since few hours earlier he could not eat even liquid sup. All of a sudden he began to run around place, playing with toys that he did not play with for two days. We looked at his lips which were swollen earlier and they got back to normal. His fever was gone. So it was one hour since we prayed. Next day he could eat everything and do everything he did before like nothing ever happened.
Praise Jesus for His power.
English club continues
English club continues.
After summer break the ministry to the students that we have been doing for quite a while is resumed. As you can see God keeps stirring our hearts to keep our focus on the young generation which we believe will be touched by God’s move in these last days.
The latest world economy recession has greatly effected the young generation in this part of the world just like we are sure in other parts as well. Our English club students request our prayers for their parent’s job situation.
We continue meeting with our English club students slowly turning their attention to the life’s important questions. Some request prayer for their family member’s health situations.
Please join us in prayer for this young generation and for the power of God to be manifested in their lives as we teach them God’s word.

Our USA friend Joe coming along side our ministry
It was great blessing to have another friend from USA Joseph from the State of New York visit us and come along side to minister with us during two weeks in April.
We praise God for the commitment of people of different nationalities than ours like Joe and many others who are willing to step out in faith and do what the Lord leeds them to do even though others around them think and say it is insane. in the natural it is really insane to take short vacation you have after many days of hard work and use it up for something others who dont know Christ think is crazy. We give our appreciation to all those who give up their time, their finance, their freedom to do what they deserved to do, and come over to Ukraine, the country which many people in Amercia and other countries dont even know exists. Keep up the hard and faithfull work and encourege others to do the same. Your reward is unimaginable.
Our USA friends visiting
In early March we had great privillage to host the team of our two lovely friends from USA the State of Georgia. Lynn Hit and Windy Wood served a great blessing to our ministry even though the visit was of short one. We are blessed to see that people like Lynn and Windy are open to hear where Lord leeds them to serve the purposes of the Kingdom of God.
They helped us teach in the English club, shared testimonies at rehab center and shared God's word with the people in our local church Living Water.
It is great encouregement when other brothers and sisters come along side to help in the work of ministry here in Ukraine.

Unconditional Love romantic church couple's night
We are extreemly happy to inform that on 14 of February our team (Ruslan&Anya, Andrey&Marina) have been able to conduct church couple's romantic night. It has been a long time since the church had it. God put it on the hearts of our team to arrange it and gather all the couples in the church for nice and romantic evening, where we all could enjoy another moment to deeply look in the eyes of our spouse ones again. The business of life and demands to live on the go turn our eyes away from each other and we dont remember when was the last time we took our loved ones out for a walk or somewhere else just to enjoy each other. We had 7 couples all together.
God gave us the name of the event as Unconditional Love which is exactly what each of us needs to make it in marriage. There were games, nice dinner, much fun, dancing, picture taking, message about unconditional love an more.
The Bible study at Living Water church restarted
We are happy to inform all of our viewers and friends that Two weeks ago God enabled me to restart in depth Bible study at our local church here in Bila Tserkva "Living Water"
It has been eight years since they had Bible study last time.
I'm so happy to see the hunger in the eyes of people when they come for more of God's word. I'm honored to say that third part of all the church people show up for in depth Bible study every week on Thursday. We began to study the book of Hebrews which is one of the most interesting books in the Bible.
Also ones a month on friday we have church night prayer meeting with about 20 church people.
Please pray that this hunger will always remain in people's hearts.

Getting back to English clubs after winter holydays break
We are back in our clubs after winter holydays.
Last Whensday we continued our English club ministry after winter holydays.
We had about 12 students like it is normal after holydays and we had great time with them asking how and where they spent their holydays. It turned out that all of them stayed at home and just hung out with their firneds.
At the end of the class i shared a short message and encoureged them to pray with me for their parents. I asked them to raise their hand if their family was beeing effected by the financial crysis developing in the world. They tolled me that most of their parents dont get paychecks even though they work hard. Their dreams of entering the University of one kind or another are beeing shattered. They all lokked sad and i encoureged them to pray to our Lord as their only hope.
We all got up to pray and they repeted after what i was saying to God on their behalf.
Please pray for each and every one of them.

But the Word of God grew and multiplied Acts12:24
Last Wednesday at our English club we had privilege to hand out the New Testaments to our school age students. Each time we have a class with them we try to focus on the Word of God.We all pray that God would continue to open their hearts to receive the truth of His Word, as they meditate and study it diligently. They have never heard the word of God preached or tought to them before. We have been able to cover some of the very important topics like:What is true love? What is sawing and reaping? Is there absolute freedom? Why is it important to have purpose in life?We look forward to having discussion on what is real beauty? We hope to cover a lot of Biblical topics with them by the end of the year.
Christmas party for students
On December 27 we had great opportunity to openly witness about Christ to many our students who came to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.A week before that we send them all Christmas cards by mail. We also handed out the invitations to the Christmas party on 27 of December. The whole program of the party was focused on Jesus and His gift to all of us.There were songs, power point presentation, skit, message about the true meaning of Christmas.A one point before eating the cake all of us with students stood up to sing to Jesus “Happy birthday to you”!They said that they had never ever done that before. We gave them a piece of paper and asked to write their most secret desires and what they would like for Jesus to give them next year. After that we got up to pray to Jesus asking Him to hear all their desires. Some of the students said that they had received the Christmas cards we send them by mail prior to the Christmas party. It was great surprise for them to find an envelope in the mail box with the words of blessing. They had never received anything like that before. They were so grateful for the care they received from us.After the Christmas party some asked direct questions about God and were deeply touched by all they experienced in the party. Please pray that the seeds that were planted and watered in their life would experience rapid growth caused by God.
